PREORDER POLICY

Effective Date: 16th of September 2024
 

Thank you for choosing The Collectors Dealer! We offer the option to PREORDER certain trading cards and related products. Please review our Preorder Policy below to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
 

1. Preorder Availability

1.1. In detail a Pre-order is for an item that has not yet come into stock, but you can pre-purchase it to secure your requirement.


1.2. Pre-Orders are particularly important for limited release items, as sometimes we may sell out of an item, therefore pre-ordering will be the only way to ensure you can buy that item and allocate it to yourself.


1.3. Pre-orders has been made available to shoppers to ensure that their requirements are allocated as soon as the stock is made available.

 

1.4. Preorders are available for select items that have not yet been released or are in high demand. Availability of preorders will be indicated on our website or through our promotional materials.

1.5. For all Pre-orders a full payment (100%) is required to ensure that your requirements are securely allocated to you. As soon as the item(s) arrive they will be shipped immediately without any further requirements from yourself.

1.6. At all stages you will be notified on ETA, status and delivery to ensure your piece of mind.

1.7. When you place a preorder, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your order, including the expected release date and any relevant information about the item.
 

2. Payment

2.1. Payment Terms: Preorders require full payment upfront, at the time of ordering.

2.2. Payment Methods: We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and other methods as specified on our website.
 

3. Release Dates and Delays

3.1. Estimated Release Date: The estimated release date provided at the time of preorder is based on information from our suppliers and is subject to change. We will notify you of any changes to the release date as soon as possible.

 

3.2. Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers or suppliers. If there is a significant delay, we will inform you and provide options for continuing with your preorder or requesting a refund.

 

3.3. Preorder ETA's: With increasing pressure on Supply published release dates are not always adhered to by the OEM / Vendor or Distributors, therefore all ETA's that we publish are provided as an estimate ONLY! This is due to delays that can occur which are not in the control of The Collectors Dealer. This includes manufacture issues, shipping delays, supplier shortages or split shipments.

3.4. In the event of a delay, we will endeavour to update the listing to reflect the new date and also communicate with the customers affected. We will always ensure a solution/update is offered to any affected order. As soon as any product is received at The Collectors Dealer, we will ensure immediate order preparation and dispatch.

4. Shipping

4.1. Shipping: Once the item is released and available, we will process your preorder for shipping. Shipping costs will be calculated based on your location and the shipping method selected. You will receive a notification with tracking information when your order ships.

4.2. If your order includes in-stock item(s) with a pre-order item(s), all items will be shipped ONCE the last pre-order item(s) is released. This also applies to multiple pre-order items with multiple release dates.

 

4.3. If you wish for separate shipments, we recommend to order pre-order items separately, so they don’t hold up delivery of other in-stock items.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. Order Cancellations and Refunds: You may cancel your PREORDER within 24 hours of placing the order for a full refund of any payments made, however, if your order has been processed, packed or goods have been shipped, The Collectors Dealer cannot provide a refund. To cancel, please contact us at support@thecollectorsdealer.com.au. Your payment will be refunded through the same payment method used during checkout. Refunds will be issued within 5 to 10 business days to the same payment method used during checkout.

5.2. Please note that a 10% handling fee will apply, due to the associated fees charged by the companies to us in these circumstances.

5.3. Again, if you choose to cancel your PREORDER after 24 hours, or if the goods have been shipped, no refund will issued.

 

5.4. The Collectors Dealer has the right to terminate the PREORDER if the item is not available due to unforeseen circumstances. We will provide a refund which will be processed to the original payment method. No handling fee will apply.

5.5. The Collectors Dealer will immediately inform the customer by sending through an email containing the reason for terminating the PREORDER. There are several reasons why we may have to cancel a PREORDER:

- PREORDERS are ordered from the supplier on demand and from time-to-time suppliers may inform us that they are no longer able to supply a product, requiring us to cancel and refund your order through the applicable payment method used. 


5.6. If we are unable to fulfil your PREORDER due to The Collectors Dealer's stock issues, you will be notified and offered a full refund. In this instance no cancellation fee will be implemented and a full refund will be provided.

6. Changes to Preorders

If you need to make changes to your preorder, such as updating shipping information or changing the item, please contact us at support@thecollectorsdealer.com.au as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes before the item is released.
